Painting of the Week

It rained all day today. The sound of the rain, the cocooning in the studio, and a good book at break time made for a gentler pacing. I just made it out for a walk and have found that the city smells like the marsh and the sea. It's strange, but nice when the city smells like nature. City smells aren't so great- except for sunny days with sausage stands running the barbeque. That smells twice as good as it tastes.

Here's the painting of the week. The blue image underneath is one of the mixed media pieces I've been getting ready for the art fair. They're an inch and a half wide, and I'm mounting them on white corrugated card stock. I've done twenty, but still have some glueing to finish.
