Sometimes magic making gets messy
Easy, inexpensive studio furniture:
Most of the time I do my painting at this counter. It's made out of old pine crates stacked two high that have handled a lot of abuse, and the old counter top from the downstairs apartment in our last place. When the landlords renovated, it was headed for the garbage. You can find recycled building supplies at Habitat for Humanity.
The easel is mostly for large pieces, when I want to paint standing up, and viewing the painting from a distance. Maybe if I had an adjustable counter stool it would be more comfortable and I'd use it more often.
Getting Settled
While keeping things simple, we still have a list of must haves to get for the house. CSN stores asked me to do a review and I'll be testing out a ceramic chef's knife I've been coveting.
