"The fire inside" mini canvas' #8 4x4" © 2010 Shayla Perreault Newcomb.Jace and I worked on another one of his videos this weekend and it turned into a collaboration. This is a painting I just finished to go with his song, "Angry Horse" and the title is a line from the lyrics. It's the only painting in the mini canvas series that deviated from the gold or pink.

WOW--you & Jace make such a GREAT team... I love how you're using paint & video collaboratively in an engaging, dynamic & beautiful way. The red, almost a wine red on my screen dazzling...This painting says a lot. Jace has wonderful way with text & imagery. Has he been "discovered" yet? He should be! I will be needing to take an unexpected break for a few days, so may be slow to be around. I will post about it tomorrow. Happy Week :o) ((HUGS))
