Photo Friday

I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape - the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter.  Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn't show.  ~Andrew Wyeth

Brrr! It's true that Wyeth's paintings certainly demonstrate his love for the pared down essentials. I didn't connect it to his preference for the more denuded seasons.

I hope you're keeping warm in the belated winter that I've heard came your way.

I like that quote. I love bare winter trees.
I am glad the felt heart arrived ok and that you like it!

I love winter if I'm looking out the window of my snug little house!

Yes! Exactly how I feel.

WONDERFUL quote by Wyeth! I do admire the bare-bones of winter... and yet, it is the season that challenges me the most physically & psychically. I confess to looking forward to spring a bit--more sun, more light, more warm! ;o) Happy Weekend, Shayla ((HUGS))
