all 3 of these are so wonderful Shayla! are they for sale? I could never afford a larger piece but maybe I could afford a tiny one like this! Hope your enviro clinic experience is going well! ☺☺☺
I personal find it hard to comprehend working on a canvas the size that is only four inches. For some time I have contemplated trying my hand at an eight inch square and have since purchased a number of them, just waiting for me to start.
I do like seeing textures, especially since such a painting captures the room light as it changes and so will the paintings appearance.
I really like the thick texture here, the almost "swirling" effect of it... and, of course, all the pinks! ;o) This is a very beautiful series this pink one, Shayla. Hope your clinic is going well! Happy Weekend ((HUGS))
hello Shayla, thank you for stopping by my blog-- I have been away from home for awhile and am slowly getting back to the blog world. Your mini paintings are very nice.
Liberty, thanks! These ones already have homes, but there will be a set like these for sale. They are $30 each, and the opening special will be $20. The people at the clinic are amazing! Most of the treatments they're going to get my doctor here to do.
M. Kate, thank you :)
Egmont, the way the light of the room changes the look of the textures- I'd never thought of that. Thanks, that's a pleasing thought.
Tracy, all of my paintings have this kind of texture, but it's more visible in a photo of a small painting. The clinic went well, thank you.
I love perusing this blog knowing I actually own The Fire Inside and The Light Within. Love them so much. I am obsessed with your mini canvasses and so I am ready to purchase two more. I will call you to arrange it! xoxo You inspire me.
