At The West (revisited)

Quickie post to share a video Jace (my spouse-guy) made this weekend in our living room for his song, "At the West." I call his style agri-folk and this tune is one of my favorites of his.

Guest appearance of our cat at the end of the video. No, she doesn't have a tail. She's part manx.

hello, congratulations on the book, your piece looks wonderful and the rest of the book sounds really intereting. I love Jace's video, and what perfect timing your cat has, he couldn't have planned it better! I really enjoyed the song, he has a really soothing voice.

music... mood... timing... delivery... atmosphere... I really liked this Shayla... Please pass it on...

what a great pair you two are...

and as far as the kitty scooting in... that just makes it feel more like a home...

The kitty swishing in is the crowing touch to this already ambient video. I really like the simplicity and everyday-ness. The light from the side is magical. And what a great voice! I feel so calm and serene every seeing/hearing this. I agree with Gwen--you & Jace make a great artistic tteam! :o) And congrats on the the book feature--what a nod! Your piece selected is breathtaking--truly, it is... all that gold... *sigh*... Wishing you both a very creative week! :o)((HUGS))

I'm sitting here grinning as the cat walked in on cue. Such a wonderfully soothing song! You're a talented duo.

Jane, thank you. I had started to paint over it when they asked me if they could publish it. That prompted me to repair it and keep it. I'm glad you liked the video.

Gwen, thanks. I let him know. Yes- there's nothing like a cat to make a place feel like home.

Tracy, one of the kitty's favorite hobbies is to ask to be let in or out of that door. Thanks for your comments. We were excited the light showed up like that.

Robyn, heh. I liked that part too.

Jace, what d'ya expect? She's a diva ;)

Jace is cool! One of the thing I remembers well in blog land is your video-I never forget it. It makes us sort of being closer together..though we are thousand miles apart, so that was nice, so is this too :)Love/M
