cucumber skin? or the insides...what type of cucumber is this, ours are nowhere like this...unless they have been left to outside the sun for a few days haha...but what a fun photo :D

Yes, Mary Kate. It's the skin/peel flipped to the inside.

I'd be really pleased to get those kinds of textures on a painting, plus that bit of shimmer...

I never would have guessed that. I looks like some sort of underwater seaweed or some type of fabric. What a beautiful image :)

Such a fresh clean image ...like a subtle watercolour. India Flint comes to mind. Fern prints on fabric.
