This painting is called "Sensuelle." I mixed ground cloves in with the paint and it made a stucco like texture. Whenever the sun heats up the studio, it smells like spiced cookies.
What an absolutely gorgeous painting and those colors are amazing! What a great idea to put spices in the paint, it would be both a treat for the eyes and nose!

Sounds yummy. I once had an art instructor who added clove oil to his oil paints to extend their drying time.
