Glamour Shots

I may at some point start incorporating photos into my work, or start scrapbooking or art journalling. Either way, I'm taking more pictures. Bit of a challenge with this squirmy subject. I had to trick Easha (the cat) by pretending to be very interested in the floor. I had to completely ignore her and study the floor with my camera until she's dying to be the centre of things and starts flaunting her stuff. If I try to photograph her under normal circumstances, I'll get the evil eye, and she magically times all quick movements to coincide with my taking the photo. She may even try to bite me. Easha photos are usually an ugly blur. I love this pose. Very 1940's starlet, cat glamour.

Unfortunately, the shoot was disrupted by the excessive jealousy of her nemesis who plunked into my lap in protest.

Easha is such a beauty! This is a superb pic.

I totally understand how hard to take good photos of animals...
